IS 14236 : 1995 Seals for reciprocating applications used in fluid power systems - Methods of test

1 Scope

This Indian Standard covers test methods and test conditions forphysical properties of seal material (homogeneous rubber) andperformance criterion of seals which are subjected to reciprocatingmotion in fluid power systems. This standard does not cover testsfor fabric reinforced rubber seals and pneumatic seals.
