1 Scope

This Standard provides guidelines for preparation ofmicrozonation map of a region to be used for an urban centre ormulti-purpose project site for regulating siting of housing andoffice complexes, commercial and industrial sectors, communityservices and other engineering structures to prevent damage fromnatural and procreated hazards resulting in ground failures andinundation of built up areas.
