1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers the dimensions and other requirementsof endless narrow V-belts used for power transmission in generalindustrial applications.

1.2 This standard also covers recommendations for transmissioncapacities and selection procedure for the belts.

1.3 The narrow V-belts conforming to this specification arerecommended for operating at ambient temperatures between -18�C and 60�C.
