1. SCOPE

1.1 This standard covers the requirements for manufacture, supply and testing of uncoated, stress relieved, low relaxation, seven-wire (ply) steel strands for prestressed concrete.

1.1.1 The following three types of strands are covered,

a) Plain;

b) Indented; and

c) Compacted.
