IS 14367 : 1996 Food Processing machinery - Planetary mixers - Safety and hygiene requirements

1 Scope

This standard specifies Safety and Hygiene requirements for themanufacture of fixed bowl planetary mixers used in the foodprocessing industry.

This machines are excluded:

- continuously fed machines,

- dough mixers,

- experimental and testing machines, and

- domestic appliances.

These machines are sometimes used in other industries (forexample pharmaceutical industry, chemical industry, printing, etc),but hazards related to these uses are not considered in thisstandard.
