1 Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes the requirements and the methods oftest for the material commercially known as Ready Mixed Paint,Brushing, Petrol Resisting, Air-Drying, for Interior painting ofTanks and Containers, Red Oxide (colour unspecified). The materialis used for the interior protection of petrol tanks and containersand is such that on air-drying it gives a film which is petrolresisting and does not increase "gumming" of petrol.
