IS 14402 : 1996 Specification for GRP pipes joints and fittings for sewerage, industrial waste and water (other than potable)

1 Scope

1.1 This specification covers requirements for materials,dimensions, classification, testing and sampling of machine madepipes with glass fibre reinforced thermosetting resin with orwithout aggregate filler having nominal diameter from 200 mm to3000 mm for use at pressure up to 1500 kPa for conveyance ofsewage, industrial waste and water (other than potable) such asriver water, well water, sea water and storm water.

1.2 Joints and fittings covered in this standard are forguidance only.

1.3 GRP pipes for conveyance of potable water are covered in IS12709 : 1994.
