1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers the recommendations on acceptancestandards for radiographic examination of welds in hull structureof surface vessels. These recommendations are also applicable forother marine structure like off-shore structures.

1.2 The provisions of this standard are applicable for bothferrous and non-ferrous materials.
