IS 1445 : 1977 Porcelain insulators for overhead power lines with a nominal voltage up to and including 1 000 V

1 Scope

1.1 This standard specifies requirements and methods of samplingand tests for porcelain insulators for overhead power lines withnominal voltage up to and including 1000 V. Both pin and shackletype insulators are covered.

1.2 It does not apply to insulators forming part of electricalapparatus or to porcelain parts used in their construction.
