This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 8498 : 1990 `Woven fabrics -Description of defects - Vocabulary' issued by the International Organizationfor Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on therecommendation of the Cotton and Cotton Products Sectional Committee andapproval of the Textile Division Council.
