NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 3) (First Revision) which is identical with ISO 9927-3 : 2019 ‘Cranes - Inspections - Part 3: Tower cranes’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Cranes, Lifting Chains and its Related Equipment Sectional Committee and approval of the Mechanical Engineering Division Council.

This standard was originally published in 2018 and was identical with ISO 9927-3 : 2005 ‘Cranes - Inspections - Part 3: Tower cranes’. The first revision of this standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of ISO 9927-3 : 2019.
