1 Scope

1.1 This method covers the determination of benzene, toluene,C₈ and heavier aromatics, and total aromatics inthe concentration range from 1.0 to 30 percent of the individualaromatic compounds listed above in this products: (i) aviationgasolines (see IS 1604 : 1967), (ii) reformer products having afinal boiling point below 175deg;C, and (iii) reformer feed andother petroleum products having a final boiling point below 150�C. The results are reported to the nearest 0.1 percentby liquid volume.
