IS 1448 : Part 137 : 1991 Methods of test for petroleum and its products: Part 137 Water separation characteristics of Aviation Turbine Fuels

1 Scope

1.1 This test method is for use in rating the ease with which afuel will release entrained or emulsified water when passed througha coalescing medium. The method is intended to measure the waterseparation characteristics of fuel as produced.

Note - ASTM Field Method D 3602 uses a Small Scale Portableapparatus to rate this characteristic of fuel.
