1. SCOPE

1.1 This test method standard describes a procedure for the examination and evaluation of white mineral oils.

1.2 This test method is not applicable to oils containing additives soluble in dimethyl sulphoxide (DMSO) that show fluorescence or fluorescence quenching properties.
