FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (Part 174) which is identical with ISO 4264 : 2018 —Petroleum products — Calculation of cetane index of middle-distillate fuels by the four variable equation’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Methods of Sampling and Test for Petroleum, its Products, Gaseous Fuels and Lubricants Sectional Committee and approval of the Petroleum, Coal and Related Products Division Council.
