This Indian Standard (Part 176) which is identical with ISO 7537 : 1997 —Petroleum products — Determination of acid number — Semi-micro colour-indicator titration method’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Methods of Sampling and Test for Petroleum, its Products, Gaseous Fuels and Lubricants Sectional Committee and approval of the Petroleum, Coal and Related Products Division Council.
