This Indian Standard (Part 179) which is identical with ISO 14596 : 2007 —Petroleum products — Determination of sulfur content — Wavelength-dispersive X-ray fluorescence spectrometry’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Methods of Sampling and Test for Petroleum, its Products, Gaseous Fuels and Lubricants Sectional Committee and approval of the Petroleum, Coal and Related Products Division Council.
