NATIONAL FOREWORD

The Indian Standard (Part 186) which is identical with ISO 23581 : 2020 ‘Petroleum products and related products determination of kinematic viscosity method by stabinger type viscometer’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Methods for Sampling and Test for Petroleum and Related Products of Synthetic or Biological Origin including Lubricants, Greases, Speciality Products, Additives and Gaseous Fuels (excluding Bitumen) Sectional Committee and approval of the Petroleum, Coal and Related Products Division Council.
