This Indian Standard (Part 23) which is identical with ISO 3837: 1993 `Liquid petrolium products - Determination of hydrocarbontypes - Fluorescent indicator adsorption method' issued by theInternational Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted bythe Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendations of theMethods of Measurement and Test for Petroleum, Petroleum Productsand Lubricants Sectional Committee and approval of the Petroleum,Coal and Related Products Division Council.
