IS 1448 : Part 74 : 2022/ISO 13758 : 1996 Methods of Test for Petroleum and Its Products Part 74 Liquefied Petroleum Gases - Assessment of the Dryness of Propane - Valve Freeze Method
Revised Standard from Last Update.
NATIONAL FOREWORD
The Indian Standard (Part 74) (First Revision) which is identical with ISO 13758 : 1996 ‘Liquefied petroleum gases - Assessment of the dryness of propane - Valve freeze method’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Methods for Sampling and Test for Petroleum and Related Products of Natural or Synthetic Origin (Excluding Bitumen and Hydrogen) Sectional Committee and approval of the Petroleum, Coal and Related Products Division Council.
This standard was first published in 1968. The first revision of this standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of ISO 13758 : 1996. Major change in this revision is that dryness of LPG is being measured by recording valve freeze time, instead of observing the colour of cobaltous bromide in earlier version.
