1. SCOPE

1.1 This Standard prescribes a procedure for measuring the tendency of lubricating greases to separate oil at elevated temperature under static conditions.

1.2 This test method is suitable for use with most of the greases, but the test precision was established using greases having worked penetration greater than 220 and less than 340.
