This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 12056 : 1996'Aircraft - Self-propelled passenger stairs for large capacityaircraft - Functional requirements' issued by the InternationalOrganization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau ofIndian Standards on the recommendation of the Air Cargo HandlingSectional Committee and approval of the Heavy MechanicalEngineering Division Council.
