1 SCOPE
1.1 This standard covers the requirement of prelaminated medium density fibre (MDF) board for general purposes and also for special applications.
1.2 This standard does not cover the surface requirements of MDF boards with any overlays other than those mentioned in this standard.
NOTE - The requirements for the MDF board used as base material in the manufacturing of any further overlaid MDF boards are given in the material clause of this standard.
