IS 14593 : 1998 Design and construction of bored cast-in-situ piles founded on rocks - Guidelines

ICS 93.020 CED 43
Reaffirmed 2018

1 Scope

This standard covers the design of load bearing concrete boredcast-in-situ piles of diameter less than or equal to 1 500 mm whichtransmit the load of the structure to the rock through resistancedeveloped either at the pile tip by end bearing or along theinterface surface by pile rock adhesion or through both.

This standard does not cover well foundations.
