1 Scope

1.1 This standard prescribes the requirements and the methods oftest for the material commercially known as Ready Mixed Paint,Brushing, Petrol Resisting, Stoving, for Interior Painting of Tanksand Containers, Red Oxide (colour unspecified). The material isused for the interior protection of petrol tanks and containers andis such that on stoving, it gives a film which is petrol resistingand does not increase " gumming" of petrol.

1.2 This standard is intended chiefly to cover the technicalprovisions relating to the purchase of the material, but it doesnot include all the necessary provisions of a contract.
