1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers Laminated Veneer Lumber (LVL) ofdensity range 0.6 to 0.75 in which most natural structural woodfall.

1.2 Its applications include all the end uses to whichstructural wood has been traditionally used, such as, beams,rafters, stringers, joists, posts and framework construction,stiles, rails and frames of doors and windows, vehicle bodies,railways coaches, containers, framework of furniture, cabinets,shelving, etc.
