1 SCOPE

1.1 This standard specifies requirements of fuel tanks for following vehicle categories which are defined in IS 14272 : 2011.

1.2 L1, L2 and L5 category of vehicles.

1.3 L7 category of vehicles with fuel tank capacity up to 15 litres.
