This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO/IEC 2382-1 : 1993`Information Technology - Vocabulary - Part 1 : Fundamental terms', issuedjointly by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) andInternational Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), was adopted by the Bureau ofIndian Standards on the recommendation of Software Systems, Languages andMethodologies Sectional Committee and approval of the Electronics andTelecommunication Division Council.
