IS 14696 : 2000 Transmission Steel Roller Chains and Chain Wheels for Oil Field Applications - Specification

1 Scope

This standard covers the dimensions and other requirements ofstandard series and heavy series roller chains and sprockets, usedfor oil field and allied applications.

Note - Heavy series chains are made in 19.05 mm and larger anddiffer from standard series chains in thicknesses of link plates.Their value is only in the acceptance of higher loads during lowspeed operation.
