1 Scope

This standard prescribes the method for determining:

a) bulk density or unit weight (in kg/m³) of Hot briquetted Iron (HBI),

b) effective or Archimedes density (in kg/m³) of HBI,

c) apparent density (kg/m³) of HBI, and

d) water absorption (percent) by HBI.
