1 Scope

1.1 This standard lays down the procedure to be followed incollecting and preparing samples representing a lot of ferro-alloysin order to determine the chemical composition of the alloy in thelot.

1.2 For the purpose of this standard ferro-alloys have beendivided into the following groups:
