1 Scope

1.1 This standard (Part 1) defines terms used in relation toflexible intermediate bulk containers (FIBCS).

1.2 This standard applies to FIBCS intended to containnon-dangerous solid materials in powder, granular, or paste form,and designed to be lifted from above by integral or detachabledevices.
