1 Scope

1.1 This standard (Part 2) specifies materials, construction anddesign requirements, type test performance and certificationrequirements, together with marking for flexible intermediate bulkcontainers (FIBCs).

1.2 This standard applies to FIBCs intended to containnon-dangerous solid materials in powder, granular, or paste form,and designed to be lifted from above by integral or detachabledevices.
