Revised Standard from Last Update.

NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (First Revision) which is identical with IEC 60423 : 2007 ‘Conduit systems for cable management - Outside diameters of conduits for electrical installations and threads for conduits and fittings’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Electrical Wiring Accessories Sectional Committee had been approved by the Electrotechnical Division Council.

This standard was first published in 2000. The first revision of this standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of IEC 60423 : 2007.

The major changes in this revision are as follows:

a) Revised figures and tables plus editorial and references; and

b) Conduit range increased to 110 mm outside diameter.
