1 SCOPE

This clause of Part 1 is applicable except as follows:

Addition

This standard (Part 2) specifies requirements for metal conduitfittings, for use with circular, threadable or non-threadableconduits complying with IS 9537 (Part 2).

This standard is not applicable to fittings for use withflexible conduits covered in IS 9537 (Part 7).
