1 Scope
1.1 This standard provides guidelines relating to planning anddesign, as well as selection of building materials for constructionof residential buildings in hilly areas.
1.2 These guidelines are applicable to general residential, lowrise buildings, built on individual plots of land, eithernon-engineered or marginally engineered structures. However, forindustrial and special buildings specific requirements may have tobe considered.
