IS 14810 : 2000 Copper Tubes for Plumbing - Specification

1 Scope

This standard covers phosphorized (DHP) copper tubes suitablefor general plumbing and similar applications for the conveyance offluids including water and are commonly used with solder, flared orcompression type fittings. The type of copper tube suitable for anyparticular application is determined by the internal or externalfluid pressure in the installation and service condition, or anyother local requirement.
