This Indian Standard (Part 5) which is identical with ISO 10816-5 : 2000`Mechanical vibration - Evaluation of machine vibration by measurements onnon-rotating parts - Part 5 : Machine sets in hydraulic power generatingand pumping plants issued by the International Organization forStandardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on therecommendations of the Mechanical Vibration and Shock Sectional Committeeand approval of the Mechanical Engineering Division Council.
