This Indian Standard (Part 6) which is identical with ISO 10816-6 : 1995`Mechanical vibration - Evaluation of machine vibration by measurements onnon-rotating parts - Part 6 : Reciprocating machines with power ratingsabove 100 kW' issued by the International Organization for Standardization(ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendationsof the Mechanical Vibration and Shock Sectional Committee and approval ofthe Mechanical Engineering Division Council.
