This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 11146 : 1999 'Lasers and laser-related equipment - Test methods for laser beam parameters - Beam widths, divergence angle and beam propagation factor' issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendations of the Optical and Mathematical Instruments Sectional Committee and approval of the Mechanical Engineering Division Council.
