This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 4417 : 1977`Size designation of clothes - Headwear issued by theInternational Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted bythe Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of theApparels (Ready-Made Garments) Sectional Committee and approval ofthe Textile Division Council.
