This tndian Standard ( Part 2/Sec 2) which is identical with IEC 60264-2-2(1990) ‘Packaging of winding wires - Part 2 : Cylindrical barrelled delivery spools - Section 2 -Specification for returnable spools made from thermoplastic material’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission ( IEC ) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Winding Wires Sectional Committee (ET 33) and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council.
