NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard ( Part 3/Sec 1 ) which is identical with IEC 60264-3-l(1999) ‘Packaging of winding wires - Part 3-1 : Taper barrelled delivery spools - Basic dimensions’ issued by the International Electrotechnical Commission ( IEC ) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the Winding Wires Sectional Committee ( ET 33 ) and approval of the Electrotechnical Division Council.
