IS 14871 : 2000 Products in Fibre Reinforced Cement - Long Corrugated or Asymmetrical Section Sheets and Fittings for Roofing and Cladding - Specification

1 Scope

1.1 This standard covers the requirements for straight fibrecement profiled sheets of more than 0.9 m length, and theirfittings used as roofing and cladding materials. It also specifiestests for checking these characteristics as well as marking andconditions for acceptance.

1.2 Some of these requirements may apply, after agreementbetween the manufacturer and the purchaser, to curved corrugatedsheets.

1.3 This standard does not apply to asbestos cement profiledsheets which are covered by IS 459.
