IS 14875 : 2000 Compressed Air Filters - Evaluation Parameters

1 Scope

1.1 This standard lays down the evaluation parameters for airfilters used in pneumatic fluid power system.

1.2 This standard is applicable to compressed air filters,manufactured from light alloys (aluminium, etc), zinc diecastalloys, brass, steel and plastic, with a rated pressure of up to 1600 kPa (16 bar) and a maximum temperature of 80ºC,designed to remove solid and liquid contaminants from compressedair by mechanical means.
