This Indian Standard (First Revision) which is identical with ISO 5348 : 2021 ‘Mechanical vibration and shock - Mechanical mounting of accelerometers’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on recommendation of the Mechanical Vibration and Shock Condition Monitoring Sectional Committee and approval of the Mechanical Engineering Division Council

This standard supersedes IS 14883 : 2000/ISO 5348 : 1998 ‘Mechanical vibration and shock - Mechanical mounting of accelerometers.’
