NATIONAL FOREWORD

This Indian Standard (First Revision) which is identical with ISO 4015 : 2022 'Fasteners - Hexagon head bolts with reduced shank (shank diameter ˜ pitch diameter) - Product grade B’ issued by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau of Indian Standards on the recommendation of the General Engineering and Fasteners Sectional Committee and approval of the Production and General Engineering Division Council.

This standard was originally published in 2001 by taking considerable assistance from ISO 4015 : 1979. The first revision of this standard has been undertaken to align it with the latest version of ISO 4015.
