IS 14903 : 2001 Transport of Laboratory Animals - Code of Practice

Scope

This standard prescribes the conditions for the transport oflaboratory animals by air, rail and road.

The laboratory animals covered in this standard are mice (Musmusculus albino), rats (Rattus norvegicus albino), rabbits(Oryctolagus cuniculus), guinea pigs (Cavia Porcellus), cotton rats(Sigmodon hispidus), hamsters (Mesocricetus auratus), snakes andfrogs.
