IS 14904 : 2007 Transport of Livestock - Code of Practice

1 SCOPE

This standard prescribes the conditions for the transport of livestock (cattle, sheep, goat and equines) by rail and road, of live domesticated animals (cattle, buffalo, deer, camelids, sheep, gwats, pigs, equines and others) by sea, and of various species of animals by air. The recommendations contained herein do not claim to be comprehensive for all circumstances but attempt to define high standards for livestock transportation on aspecies by species basis.
