This Indian Standard which is identical with ISO 10227 : 1996`Human/human surrogate impact (single shock) testing and evaluation- Guidance on technical aspects' issued by the InternationalOrganization for Standardization (ISO) was adopted by the Bureau ofIndian Standards on the recommendations of the Mechanical Vibrationand Shock Sectional Committee and approval of the MechanicalEngineering Division Council.
